Activity Ideas - 500 Clues
500 is a great game to play with a big group of people. Try playing at recess, at a park or in your neighborhood.
What you will need:
- 3 or more people.
- any ball you can toss, hit, bounce, or kick.
- baseball, football, soccer ball, basketball, or Frisbee
- outdoor space big enough to play catch
How to get started:
- Decide on 1 person to be the thrower
- Everyone else gather in front of the thrower, at throwing distance.
The game:
- The thrower tosses a ball into the air and shouts out a number between 50
and 500, like this: "I have 200 up for grabs"
- Whoever catches the ball gets the points.
- If the person drops the ball, they lose the points. Negative points are possible.
- If the ball comes to a complete stop no points are given or taken away
- The first person to earn 500 points becomes the new thrower.
