To find your way to the secret stairs,
You'll have to be dressed in what a hiker wears.
Head south from the park where cars pass over trees,
Here you'll find a dark path; on an adventure it leads.
You'll pass two rocks, one
green and one
weighty,
They mark the right trail, but follow it closely.
A
tiny ravine leads to a bouquet of
black flowers,
Which come before the
glinty gate, where the last trees tower.
Your path is clear now, follow it down the road,
To a place where some travelers follow it by a
different mode.
Next be on the lookout for a
youthful tree and red branches,
Then find the next clue; you'll have three chances.
The next challenge is to find a distinctive tree,
Tangled,
sunken or
prickly, which one will it be?
Don't stop now, because
X marks the spot,
Of a
very loud place where the river gets caught.
Cross the dam but beware the fork in the road,
Don't follow
the little bridge; seek the path that's narrowed.
Explore along the banks where the still waters sit,
The path is harder, but this is almost it.
Look for some
patches of green on the opposite side,
Then cross the
rushing water to where the
secret stairs hide!
