Activity Ideas - Snowball Toss

The snowball toss is a great game to play outside on a snow day.

What You Need:

• Snow (of course)
• Food coloring - Red, Yellow, Blue, Green
• Squirt Bottle(s)
• Paper and Pencil

Building the Target:

• Fill bottles with food coloring and water.
• Find an area for the target and pack down the snow.
• Make a red bulls-eye in snow.
• Add different colored rings, like a dartboard.
• Five rings total including white.

The Game:

• Choose scorekeeper, uses paper and pencil to keep score.
• Make a stockpile of snowballs.
• Toss snowballs at target.
  • Bulls-eye = 50 pts
  • Second Ring = 40pts
  • Third Ring = 30 pts
  • Fourth Ring = 20pts
  • Outer White Ring =10 pts
  --- 100 pts wins the round
