7/25/08 & 7/26/08 - On GUGO Pond
We're going out, over, and under a typical Michigan pond to learn about a kettle pond habitat and the kinds of things that call them home. Come along as we check out the Environmental Discovery Center at Indian Springs Metropark and see some of the ways you can learn more about life in Michigan waters, with a unique view that's underneath all of the action! Then we'll visit the Beverly Hills Club for an all new "Once-a-day" Workout that you can do right at home. We'll learn a fun GUGO game you can play right in your own backyard, and we'll head over to the New Detroit Science Center for another Excellent Experiment.

8/1/08 & 8/2/08 - BMX
We're off to Waterford Oaks for some BMX racing. We'll head to the Mediterranean Market and Bakery in Farmington Hills for some Healthy Habits, international style. We'll review some bike safety, and do another Excellent Experiment at the New Detroit Science Center.
8/8/08 & 8/9/08 - Heidelberg Project
We're going to take an adventure down the street covered in polka dots, along a sidewalk lined with shoes, past Noah's ark to "A House That Makes Sense." Come along as we visit "The Heidelberg Project" in Detroit. We'll see how a Detroit artist turned his neighborhood street into an outdoor art museum, and we'll learn how to make our own Heidelberg house! While we're out we'll head to the New Detroit Science Center for an all new Excellent Experiment. We'll also check out some fun ways to play GUGO games in your driveway with sidewalk chalk. Then, we'll head to the Beverly Hills Club for an all new "Once-a-day" workout.
8/15/08 & 8/16/08 - Michigan Renaissance Festival
We travel back through time to the 16th century as we visit the Michigan Renaissance Festival. Join us as we mingle with royalty, meet a fairy, learn about birds of prey, and see a dragon. We'll conduct another Excellent Experiment at the New Detroit Science Center, do another Once-a-day Workout, and more.
8/22/08 & 8/23/08 - Outback Adventure
We're going on a walkabout to visit some furry friends who are most at home when they're hopping around! Come along with us as we visit the Detroit Zoo, and see how you can take a trip to the Australian Outback without getting too far away from home. Then we'll learn a fun way you can use your feet outdoors with another fun GUGO game. We'll try an all-new Excellent Experiment at the New Detroit Science Center, and while we're bounding around with the kangaroos, we'll see what's hopping with the Girl Scouts.
8/29/08 & 8/30/08 - Land of 100 Trees
We're off to the E. L. Johnson Nature Center in Bloomfield Hills to learn about all the fun you can have getting out and about among the nearly one hundred species of trees they have here. Come along as we stroll along the nature trails of this land laboratory, seeing how many different trees we can find, discovering what makes them unique, and checking out the other cool things you can find along the way! We'll learn about some all new Healthy Habits you can try at home, thanks to our friends at 3aday.org. We'll stop by the New Detroit Science Center for another cool "Excellent Experiment", and if getting out on the nature trails isn't enough exercise, we'll get a little more with an all new "Once-a-day" Workout that's fun and easy to do... right in your own living room!
9/5/08 - 9/20/08 - September Pledge Drive
Get Up! Get Out! will not be seen during our September Pledge drive, but will return at the end of the month.
9/26/08 & 9/27/08 - Amphibiville
We're coming in from the rain and meeting some amphibious friends who are most at home in the wet weather. Come along with us as we visit the Detroit Zoo, and see how you can take a trip to a tropical rain forest without going too far from home. While we're at the Zoo, we'll check out another all new Creature Feature. Plus, we'll try an all-new Once-a-day Workout.
