Healthy Habits - Protein & Silly Sandwiches

Healthy Habit of the Day...
PROTEIN is the main building material of the body and helps build muscles, making you strong. Chicken and fish are good sources of protein. Milk, cheese and eggs are rich in protein, too.
Recipe of the week...
SILLY SANDWICHES
Prep Time: 8 minutes
Makes: 1 serving
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices of bread
  • Your favorite sandwich ingredients (lunchmeat, cheese and mayonnaise, peanut butter and jelly, etc.)
Utensils:
  • 1 table knife
  • Cookie cutter of your choice
Steps:
  1. The first thing you want to do is check with a grown-up before you start this
  2. Once you get their "ok," use the cookie cutter to make your 2 bread shapes
  3. Take 1 piece of bread and top with the ingredients, and add the other piece of bread last
  4. Enjoy!
